Payment
From Dusk Till Dog, LLC accepts all major credit cards, check, and cash payments. Please make all checks payable to From Dusk Till Dog. Cash or check payments may be left in a visible location for your dog walker/pet sitter to pick up. 
Returned Checks
There is a fee for all returned checks.
Entry
We require two copies of your key (one for your primary walker/sitter and one for our main office as an emergency backup). We also can use garage codes or door codes as opposed to a key. We may require more keys, depending on your needs.
Scheduling
Regular dog walks/visits can be scheduled between 9AM-5PM. Pet sitting services are for regular clients only and our hours may run longer for said clients, as needed. We are available to take your calls 9:00 AM-8:00 PM on most days. Considering we are sometimes tied up caring for pets, we are periodically checking our phone for your calls, so please allow ample time for us to respond. We also periodically check our phone/email during off hours in case of emergencies.
Last Minute Scheduling Requests
We understand that last minute business trips and emergencies do happen. We will always do our best to accommodate any last minute requests. However, we cannot guarantee services without ample notice. Last minute requests may be subject to a fee.
Scheduling Requests and Changes
All scheduling must be completed through our main office. This is to ensure proper and accurate scheduling. All walkers and sitters have been instructed to notify the main office of any scheduling changes or cancellations you may have. Any requests, changes, or cancellations are to be made through the online portal, or directly to us via phone, text, or email.
Dog Walking Cancellations
Any cancellations done within 24 hours of a scheduled visit may be subject to a cancellation fee
and will be due within 7 days of the cancellation.
Time Blocks
We offer several convenient time blocks to accommodate your pet care needs. We cannot guarantee that we will arrive at a specific time. However, we do guarantee that we will arrive within one hour of the desired time requested. For those with changing schedules or for those requesting timeframes during our busy lunch hour, we ask to please provide flexibility on arrival times, if possible.
Meet and Greets with New or Backup Walkers/Sitters
We truly value high-quality and stable, reliable relationships with our clients and their pets. We do our best to provide the same walker(s) for all of our regular walking clients. However, life can be unpredictable. People get sick, cars won't start, family emergencies occur, etc. If your regular walker is not available, you will be provided a backup walker. Whenever possible, we will give you enough notice so you can set up a time to meet them if you desire to do so. We will also do our best to assign the same pet sitter every time, but we cannot guarantee availability. We will do our best to inform you in advance about any changes with your pet care provider. All of our pet sitters and dog walkers are extensively interviewed, fully trained, and background checked through GoodHire. If you require additional meet and greets upon scheduling, there may be an additional fee added to your service bill.
Holidays
We are happy to service all of our wonderful clients on all major holidays! There will be an additional $10 charge per visit on each holiday including, New Year's Eve (anytime after 5PM), New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Easter, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Please note that a 50% deposit may be due prior to reserve any holiday visits, with the other 50% due at time of service.
Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, as always, we will have your target timeframes in mind but if there are road closings or traffic delays due to the weather, we ask that you are flexible on arrival times. From Dusk Till Dog has requested on the emergency contact information section in our online portal the name and phone number of a person living near by who have access to your home. If we are physically unable to reach your home due to impassable roads or other extreme weather conditions, please provide us with this information so that we can contact this person to request assistance for your pet until we can get there. Your pet’s health and well-being is our utmost concern and we will contact you as soon as possible to keep you informed on such events.
Behavior
We may not be able to take you on as a dog walking or may terminate service if your dog has signs of aggression, fear, or severe anxiety with strangers, etc. or we notice this developing during our visits. We can also provide training services to assist with this.
Equipment Policy (Dogs)
All clients who would like their dogs to be walked must provide a harness or basic cloth or nylon collar. We cannot walk dogs on prong collars, choke chains, pinch collars, slip leads, shock collars, etc. We recommend harnesses and a regular 5 or 6-foot leash (as opposed to retractable leashes) for safety purposes. We ask that even if your dog is not getting walked during our visit that they not be wearing any of the equipment listed above while in our care.
